In guiding your steps, reading the word of God and keeping them will help you to stay away from sin (Psalm 119:11).

Reading the Bible gives us courage

The word of God encourages us and gives hope in time of trouble. The best thing to do when fear or anxiety comes is to read the word of God, it strengthens you. Joshua 1:7 “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.” 2 Chronicles 32:7 say: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him.”

Reading the Bible is like sowing a seed into your life for the Scripture stated it that the Word of God is a seed (Luke 8:11). 1 Peter 1:23 “For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.”
